For Kari and James, flowers weren’t the focus as much as they wanted the design to center on the different color and textural experiences available with greenery. The frame of greenery around the entrance to the restaurant where their reception occurred was lush and diverse, making use of different kinds of eucalyptus, ferns, and foraged greenery to set a dramatic tone for the evening. Kari’s bouquet contained Lotus flower buds, hellebores, and Queen Anne’s lace. Guests dined surrounded by garlands of greenery and floating candles. The overall effect was intimate and romantic.
